In the morning, around 6:30 a.m., after I drop my son off at school, I drive to Superchip shopping mall, a low-priced wholesale and retail mall in Phuket near my son's school. Therefore, I often stop by here to buy food and flowers. Since it is close to home and the prices are slightly lower than in other markets, many people flock here to buy products every day.
Even though it was still early, people and vendors bought raw materials such as vegetables, fruits, fresh food, and dried food. In particular, the vegetable and fruit section was full of vendors who came to buy vegetables and fruits in large numbers.
Today I planned to buy some fruits so I went straight to the fruit section. In the two-story wooden trays in the fruit and vegetable section, there were many kinds of fruits. I chose to buy pears, apples, and passion fruits, which are fruits that I like to eat.
After getting the fruit I wanted, I went to the flower and plant section. I wanted to get a rose to plant in my garden. I stood there for a long time choosing a rose plant because there were many beautiful ones that I liked. Then I decided to pick one rose plant.
Near the flower section is the ornamental fish section. I, who like ornamental fish, have often bought some to raise, but they always die. Today, I could only look at them. No matter how much I raise these fish, I know that when they are with me for a few days, they die, so I have to give up.
I had to walk out of the ornamental fish section and head straight to the seafood section to buy some shrimp to boil and eat with papaya salad, which is my favorite menu. I could eat it every day and never get tired of it. I chose large, fresh shrimp in a bag, about half a kilo, and then went straight to the payment section.
In addition to selling a variety of products, the Superchip Department Store also sells freshly prepared food in front of the department store. I often buy prepared food for breakfast. The food here is cheaper than in the market because it is distributed by the Superchip Department Store itself.
