After the rain fell for almost 2 months, yesterday the rain stopped, making the weather nice. The sky was clear like entering summer. But I'm still not sure how long the sky will be clear like this. Around 09:20 AM, the sky was still clear, so I decided to grab the car key and drive straight to Promthep Cape. While driving, I prayed that it wouldn't rain. The distance from my house to Promthep Cape was about 33 kilometers. I drove while humming a song softly, happy to see the sky clear again.
It took me about 40 minutes to drive to Promthep Cape the parking lot was full of large tour buses that brought tourists to visit Promthep Cape because it had rained every day before. When the weather was nice, tourists started to arrive in large numbers. Most tourists come in large groups with tour guides. However, the time when most tourists like to visit Promthep Cape is in the evening to watch the sunset. This is the point that tells the time of sunset in Thailand and is one of the most beautiful places to watch the sunset in Phuket Province.
As I walked up to the viewpoint of Promthep Cape, the green trees and leaves contrasted with the blue sky and sea, it felt very refreshing. I haven't seen such beautiful weather for almost 2 months.
The viewpoint of Laem Phromthep is as beautiful as a painting. There are small and big islands in the middle of the wide sea. You can hear the sound of waves hitting the rocks it sounds scary but beautiful at the same time. There is a strong wind that makes you feel cool. It is a happiness that cannot be bought for those who love nature.
In the rainy season, the trees here are lush and green, and no matter where you look, it is refreshing and pleasing to the eyes. The symbol of Laem Phromthep is the large number of palm trees standing defying the wind and sunlight on the edge of the cliff.
At the Promthep Cape viewpoint, there is also a lighthouse standing tall and prominently on top. It is also a learning center about various warships stationed in Thailand.
The most popular area for tourists to take photos is the curved cape that extends into the sea. You can walk down to the tip of the cape, but the path is quite difficult. If you want to walk down to the tip of the cape, you should wear comfortable clothes and shoes so that you don't have an accident. The best time to see the view at Promthep Cape is during sunset. The beauty of the sunset is very charming. You will fall in love with Phuket and come back to visit again.
