Today we stayed dry, short hike from Kirn to Sulzbach and back. Wherever you go, there are great trails in all directions that you can hike. Sometimes shorter, sometimes longer and after every hike you are happy to have done it. Like the Kirn to Sulzbach today.

An insect hotel - a hotel for insects? What would that be good for? Isn't it the case that insects can be found everywhere because of their size and therefore need neither comfortable accommodation nor a vacation? In the meantime, the natural landscape has changed so much as a result of intensive human intervention that there are only a few natural habitats left for insects. This can be remedied by an insect hotel, which helps the small insects with nesting and wintering.

Beautiful photos! It seems that you had a nice hike in the wonderful nature. I love the greenery, the mountains, the stream, and the clouds. The insect hotel is amazing and really creative.
