This place is located by the Limfjord a couple of kilometers west of Aalborg city centre. There are several marinas along the fjord. Strolling from the center along the Limfjorden is a nice trip. The apartments located here are on the road called Egholmfergevei and have a view of the marina. Aalborg Sailing Club is also based here. I took the trip one afternoon when I was visiting friends living here in one of the apartments. Our walk followed the marina around and continued a few kilometers outside.
The nice thing about living here is that you are close to the center of Aalborg, while at the same time you get this view from the livingroom. Just a few minutes walk in the oposite direction towards the centre of Aalborg you will find a bathing facility and Aalborg Street Food. By following the fjord from the apartment, it doesn't take long before you are out in nature. It feels like you are far from the city, but in reality it is not many kilometers away.
Aalborg is one of Denmark's largest cities. From what I know, it is possibly the country's fourth largest. It is assumed that the area has been inhabited since the 6th century and the city is thus one of Denmark's oldest cities. The location by the Limfjorden made the place very favorable during the Viking Age, as they could sail right up the fjord. Limfjorden has a mouth towards the sea both in the east and in the west. You can therefore sail in at one end and out at the other. It also means that you see an incredible amount of small boat traffic when you walk along the fjord.
The last two photos show the harbor in the morning light. Still a beautiful sight. Directly opposite the harbor is the small island of Egholm. To get there, you take the small ferry that leaves from the end of Egholmfergevei. It's a completely flat island. Therefore, it is almost not visible in the pictures above. No matter what time of day, this place is lovely.

It's a beautiful place. I love how the waters reflect the ships and buildings, your photography is top notch.
Thank you :)
@digi-me Waooo! These reflections are simply spectacular, but I also find the scenery very beautiful, without a doubt the Danish landscapes convey a lot of tranquility, peace and harmony. Greetings!
The light was great that afternoon and you are right. The landscape in Denmark does convey tranquility and peace :)
