The year 2022 has passed! ❄
For me it was a truly momentous and important year.
🎨 At the end of last year I decided to leave my official job at the newspaper for freelance work. It was a momentary decision, but it took me a whole year to get there. And I have not regretted it, even though I was very, very nervous and afraid. Almost all of my friends were against it and turned their heads like, "Who needs you with your pictures, you naive? It's so amazing how people can make us feel insecure, doubt our talents, good luck, determination. Away with such people! But the people who are really close to me - friends, family supported me) Especially my mother - she did not understand why I hadn't started freelancing long time ago) And now I have been an illustrator for exactly one year. And I can say that the decision to go was my best decision for the past decade) I finally found myself in my place, gone impostor complex that was with me the last 10 years that I worked as a designer. And yes the anxious thoughts and worries about the future still haunt me, but much less than before and most importantly now I have a happy present in terms of work)
