Cochem has let the Reichsburg shine in green on the occasion of the St. Patrick Day.
We did not miss this and took up to 23:30 the scenery. Including spooky empty.
We have tried to include only once the "all world China view" from the bridge.
St. Patrick's Day on the Moselle River
"Green for St. Patrick's Day" is the motto on Wednesday evening, March 17, also in Cochem. Then the Reichsburg will shine green illuminated into the Moselle valley.
As a sign of solidarity with Ireland, on St. Patrick's Day, Wednesday, March 17, landmarks and buildings around the globe will shine in bright green. In Cochem, the Reichsburg Castle will once again be illuminated in green on this evening. The town's landmark is thus in a row with Niagara Falls, the Sydney Opera House and the Leaning Tower in Pisa, among others. Source

The lights and architecture there are truly magnificent. When I saw the pictures on the walls of the buildings, I thought of the Hagia Sophia Church. How beautiful!

St. Patrick is magnificent with the gorgeous green light. It looks outstanding in the far distance. The sculptures on the wall are amazing.
The reflection of the lights of the buildings on the river is also wonderful. Great shot! 🙂
