Herkese merhabalar arkadaşlar. Bildiğiniz üzere okullar ara tatile girmek üzere. Bizde bu hafta itibarı ile Kilis'ten İzmir'e yolculuk yapacağız. Yaklaşık 13-14 saat sürecek 1200 km olan yolculuk tabiki yorucu olacak. Bu yolculuğa çıkmadan önce arabamıza bakım yapmamız gerekiyordu. Bir kaç oto tamirhanesi gezince abartılı rakamlar duyunca bazı işleri kendim yapmaya karar verdim. Ben genelde yazılarımı hem Türkçe hem İngilizce yazarım. Ama yurt dışında yaşayan arkadaşların araba tamiri konusunda pek sorun yaşadıklarını düşünmüyorum. Bu sebeple tamamını çevirip onları sıkmayacağım.Çünkü ülkemize özgü bazı durumlar yaşadığımız için biz burada bu işlerin ustası olduk diyebilirim. Hepsi değil ama bazı kötü niyetli ustalar sizin anlamadığınızı anlarlarsa vay halinize.
Yollar soğuk ve kış şartları olduğu için arabanın kalorifer peteğinde tıkanıklık vardı. Sorduğumda temizlik için 500 TL gibi bir fiyat söylediler. Bende sonuçta temizlik parça değişmeyecek bile ne kadar zor olabilir ki diye kendim yapmaya karar verdim. Ama öncelikle güzel bir yıkama yapmam gerekiyordu.
Evimizin bir sokak ötesinde oto yıkama vardı ve bu çok iyiydi. Eve gelirken aracı yıkamaya bırakır geçerdim. Şimdi oturduğum yere yakın bir oto yıkama yok bu sebeple ben de kendim yıkıyorum .
Bunun için oto yıkama bölümü bulunan benzin istasyonuna gidiyorum. Arbanın içini süpürmek için bozuk para atıyorum ve süpürge ile iç temizliği yapıyorum. Ayrıca köpük ve su için de bozuk para atarak aracın dışını da yıkayabiliyoruz.
Her zamanki oto yıkamama bu sefer bir de motor temizliği ekledim. Bunun için yağ çözücü kullandım. Bu yağ çözücüler ile kaportanızıda silerseniz daha parlak bir görüntü elde edebilirsiniz.
Yağ çözücüyü bolca her yere sıkıp bir yarım saat bekliyoruz.
Sonra güzelce bez ile kurtuluyoruz. Sonuç gayet güzel oldu.
Petek temizliği
Arabanın yedek su tankı gördüğünüz bej renkli olan kutu. Bir altta bir üstte 2 hortum bağlanıyor. Motoru soğutan soiu bu hortumlarda gezerek soğutma yapıyor. Motorda üst kapak arızası gibi sorunlar olduğunda yağ veya kir bu suya karışırsa dolaşımda gidip petekleri tıkayabilir.
Hortumları söktükten sonra üfleyerek içerdeki suyu dışarı atıyoruz ve huni yardımı ile yağ çözücüyü döküyoruz.
1 saat bekliyoruz içindeki yağ çözücü dökülmesin diye hortumları birbirine bağladım.
Sonra hortumla tazyikli su basarak yağı ve kiri dışarı atıyoruz. Tıpkı evlerdeki petek temizliğinin aynısı. Daha önce tıkanıklıktan ısıtmayan peteğimiz artık ısıtıyor. Böylece yolun soğuk şartlarına hazırlanmış olduk. Elim ve üstüm kirlendiği için telefonla çok fotoğraf çekemedim ama size örnek olsun diye izleyerek öğrendiğim videoyuda paylaşıyorum. Hello everyone, friends. As you know, schools are about to enter a midterm break. As of this week, we will travel from Kilis to Izmir. The journey of 1200 km, which will take about 13-14 hours, will of course be tiring. Before we went on this trip, we needed to service our car. After visiting a few auto repair shops and hearing exaggerated numbers, I decided to do some work myself. I usually write my articles in both Turkish and English. But I don't think that my friends living abroad have many problems with car repair. For this reason, I will not translate them all and bore them. Because we have experienced some situations specific to our country, I can say that we have become the masters of these works here. Woe to you if not all but some malicious masters find out that you don't understand.
Since the roads were cold and winter conditions, there was a blockage in the heater core of the car. When I asked, they said a price of 500 TL for cleaning. In the end, I decided to do it myself because the cleaning part would not be changed, how hard it could be. But first I had to do a nice wash.
There was a car wash down the street from our house and that was very good. On the way home, I would leave the car to wash. Now there is no car wash near where I live, so I wash it myself.
For this, I go to the gas station with a car wash. I toss a coin to vacuum the inside of the car and do the interior cleaning with the broom. We can also wash the outside of the vehicle by tossing a coin for foam and water.
This time I added engine cleaning to my usual car wash. I used degreaser for this. If you wipe your hood with these degreasers, you can get a brighter image.
We spray the degreaser liberally all over the place and wait for half an hour.
Then we get rid of it with a nice cloth. The result was pretty good.
Honeycomb cleaning
The beige box where you see the spare water tank of the car. 2 hoses are connected, one at the bottom and one at the top. The soiu that cools the engine is cooling by traveling in these hoses. When there are problems such as a malfunction of the top cover in the engine, if oil or dirt mixes with this water, it may go into circulation and clog the cores.
After removing the hoses, we blow out the water inside and pour the degreaser with the help of a funnel.
We are waiting for 1 hour, I connected the hoses together so that the oil solvent in it does not spill.
Then we press the hose with pressurized water to throw the oil and dirt out. Just like the honeycomb cleaning in homes. Our honeycomb, which did not heat from the blockage before, is now heating. Thus, we were prepared for the cold conditions of the road. I couldn't take many photos with the phone because my hands and clothes were dirty, but I am sharing the video I learned by watching as an example for you. If you encounter such a problem in your car, you can do this cleaning yourself.
