This fishing boat is located here after being carried by the force of the tsunami on december 26, 2004. the boat's current position is a very real symbol of the mighty force of the tsunami's wave. the joay saved 59 people in this incident.
The earthquake and tsunami sisaster of 26 of December 2004 has devestasted whole infrastructures in Banda Aceh, and because of tsunami wave, a wooden boat was stranded in Lampulo village, Kuta Alam, precisely on top of Misbah family’s house.
Unfortunately, God has decided something else, the earthquake and tsunami disaster had the boat to the housing in Lampulo, which was approximately located 1 Km from the dock area. Praise to God 59 people survived in the boat because of this incident. When the water declined, the people who survived did not reasile that a huge crocodile was under the boat.
