Thanks for sharing that insight. I suspected that, as it seems mirrorless cameras of all brands suffer from that same issue ;) Compared with my 5D where I bring usually two and I almost never get the backup one from the backpack. With the two exceptions when I was mass shooting long exposures of the Northern Lights at temp below the zero. In Norway it was about -20 C and I didn't need the 3rd battery either ;)

I hope that new Sulphur Natrium technology will do the battery side much better in a year or two :)

Digital displays and electronic viewfinders need a lot power, and I do also hope that future batteries will be better and smarter 😀
