good afternoon all hive friends, today I will post a photo of a black praying mantis
The black praying mantis, or black praying mantis (scientifically known as Hierodula species or other black praying mantis species), is a type of praying mantis known for its distinctive black coloration and predatory nature. These insects are part of the order Mantodea, which is known for their praying posture, where their front legs are held together in a position that resembles a prayer.
The black coloration of these praying mantises is often a result of natural adaptation or genetic variation. Like other praying mantises, they are excellent predators, using their powerful front legs to catch prey such as smaller insects. They are also known for their ability to blend in with their surroundings, especially in dark or shaded environments, making them efficient hunters.
That day I took a photo of this praying mantis using the macro lens of all Hive friends.
That's all for my post this time, see you in my next post
