Toads are a type of amphibian that belongs to the Bufonidae family. They have rough, slimy skin and are often found around ponds, swamps, or damp places, hive friends. Toads have relatively fat bodies, strong hind legs for jumping, and most of their lives are spent on land although they also need water to lay eggs.
Toads are known for their distinctive croaking sounds at night, especially during the mating season. They eat a variety of insects, worms, and other small creatures. Some types of toads can also release poison as self-defense if they feel threatened.
This frog is very rare to find in urban areas. Because I rarely see frogs, so just now I happened to be in front of my house in the ceramics and then I took photos of several of my Hive friends' frogs.
