The flood disaster hit Aceh again, thousands of people were forced to evacuate

Entering the new year 2022 is a sad moment for some Acehnese. Another flood disaster occurred in North Aceh Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia.

The high intensity of rain for 3 days caused the river to overflow there. On Wednesday, January 2, 2022, the river overflowed and submerged the settlements there.

Thousands of people were forced to evacuate because the water was getting higher which submerged their homes. They must be willing to leave their homes in order to save their souls.

Volunteers continued to arrive to help evacuate communities who were isolated due to the water rising so quickly into residential areas.

In addition, this flood disaster also paralyzed the economic sector of the people there. and also damaged a number of public facilities, school activities were forced to be closed which were also flooded.

This is the 6th day of the flood disaster there. The water had begun to recede, some of the colors had started to return to the house. However, some residents still survive in refugee camps.

I am very sorry about the flood. There have been several floods here last year as well. And because of the flood, even the big buildings were destroyed. I hope the situation gets better soon. !PIZZA
