As it is Christmas today, it was holiday for Hubby too. So in evening we got to the market, actually first to the vegetables market which sets up every Wednesday and Saturday. And the best thing about it is that you get totally fresh veggies at the best prices. Most of the vegetable sellers belong to the nearby village and some of them grow these vegetables on their farms too. So generally we try to get vegetables from there only.
Then after buying a lot of vegetables 😄, we moved towards the market to have something spicy. We reached to our favorite momos stall, we like the momo made by him so purchased two plates of momo and returned home. Just put it out in the plate with the spicy chilly sauce and enjoyed it.
Here is picture of momo that i clicked after putting everything in the plate. Tell me if you are familiar with it or not. If yes then what is the name of Momo at your place.
About Momo
Momo is a type of steamed dumpling with some filling inside it. The outer covering is generally made of wheat flour. Basically they are veg and non veg, it depends upon the filling they have inside. In the veg Momo, there is generally chillies, cabbage coriander tofu etc inside. While in the non veg type obviously some non veg material inside. Though i am a vegetarian so we took veg momos. There are fried Momo too, but I don't like them. Dakshu too love eating these Momo a lot. She just don't eat the sauce as it is too spicy for her.
Momo are quite popular in the eastern states, once when we visited West Bangal's Darjeeling, we found Momo there. Actually these are more popular there. The size of those Momo was bigger than these ones. And no doubt that Momo there were more delicious than here at out place.
