That’s a mammoth hike Hannes. You captured so many wonderful views of the mountains, the waterfall and orange sky in the early morning. The valley below scene is lovely..it seems a long way down.
It is an ideal setting for the cabin. I would have felt safer inside it for the night but I think you like a little danger. :)

A mammoth hike for me in my age, if I was still 25 I would have run it 😉 lol
I hate walking downwards so the hike down and then to my parents house took me about 3 hours.
The snake was beautiful, but like you I also prefer the marmot ;)
