Today, everything I see, everything looks green. Not green in the figurative sense like a philosopher who sees the world with hope, but literally green, namely the flowers in the yard, the grasshoppers perched on the wall, to the trees swaying in the wind in the middle of the fog. Everything feels greener than usual, as if my eyes are using a natural filter.
Usually, I don't pay much attention to them, occasionally nodding politely to the universe, then continuing my life. But today, their green color caught my attention. The tiny leaves seemed to greet me with a gentle wave, saying, "Hey, do you finally realize we're here?" 🥹
Not far away, a grasshopper jumped onto the wall, then looked at me. His eyes were big, his body was slender, and for some reason he looked like a thinker who was considering his existence. I almost wanted to ask, "Do you also feel the world is getting greener, or is it just me?" However, as a human being who is still sane, at least by social standards, I restrained myself. 🥹
The green trees that I usually only use as a backdrop for my journey, now look like loyal guardians of the world that never sleep. The leaves rustle softly, forming a small symphony that accompanies the day. I smile, imagining that if trees could talk, maybe they would argue about who is the oldest, the strongest, or the most inhabited by birds, and there are still many more that I could ask.
Then, I wonder why all this suddenly feels greener? Or is it just my mind that is starting to be more sensitive to nature? Or, is it possible that I am unknowingly going through a "green" phase in my life, a phase where I start to appreciate the little things that I previously ignored?
Right now, the world is green, and I don't let it go without photographing it and sharing it with you.
