Bagau Birds Looking for Food in Rice Fields

in CCH5 days ago

Hello Hivers...

This morning I went to the rice fields to monitor the growth of the rice plants that I had fertilized a few days ago, but when I came home I saw a flock of herons looking for food in the rice fields, I immediately took a photo of it and shared it with the @campingclub community.

The heron has a very unique way of foraging. They usually forage in flooded rice fields, where they can easily find various types of food such as insects, worms, frogs, or even small mice. They use stagnant water to catch their prey. This bird is also known for its ability to follow human activities when farmers work on the rice fields.

The presence of heron in rice fields not only enriches biodiversity, but is also an indicator of the health of the agricultural ecosystem, because they help maintain the balance of the population. That's all my post on this occasion, I hope you like it.

Important Note: I wrote in Indonesian, then translated it using Google Translate.
