Small boats pulling large ships often use ropes or rigging to connect the two. Small boats are usually more agile, easy to maneuver, and can traverse waters that are difficult for large ships to reach. In this situation, the small boat acts as a director or assistant who regulates the journey of the large ship so that it remains safe and free from danger.

This phenomenon is not only technically interesting, but also reflects an important concept in life: collaboration.
