The Joy of Children Bathing in the River

in CCH3 days ago

Hello Hivers...

On this happy occasion I share some photos about the joy of children bathing in the river. I took this photo when I visited my sister's house in Keumala Dalam village, Pidie district, Aceh. The children were bathing under a suspension bridge. There were also some who climbed onto the bridge after bathing while looking at their friends who were still below.

The afternoon in Keumala Dalam brings a unique tranquility. The air begins to cool after the midday heat, and the sky slowly turns red on the western horizon. Amidst the calm atmosphere, the sound of cheerful laughter can be heard from the direction of the Keumala River where the village children usually spend their time bathing and playing in the water.

Keumala River is known as one of the natural places in the area. The water is clear, flows calmly and is surrounded by shady trees. Local children do not hesitate to run to the river after school or after helping their parents at home. They jump, swim, and play throwing water at each other, creating a cheerful atmosphere. The clear and not too deep river is a safe and fun place to play. Children come with only shorts or sarongs wrapped around them. Some come alone, while others come in groups while bringing used inner tubes as floats. Everyone looks excited, as if they don't want to miss a single second of the fun in the water.

The sound of splashing water is accompanied by thunderous laughter. Some are swimming from one side to the other, some are jumping from large rocks, and not infrequently those who just sit on the edge while playing in the water and sharing stories. Afternoons in the river are not just about bathing or refreshing the body.

Although simple, this activity of bathing in the river is an important part of the lives of the children of Keumala Dalam. Not just cleaning themselves, but also a moment to play, socialize, and learn to love nature. Parents generally do not forbid it, as long as the children remain careful and do not play until too late.

Parents who pass by just smile at their children's behavior. They know that the river is not just a flow of water for children, but also a natural learning space learning to share, learning to take care of themselves and learning to love nature from an early age.

Children bathing in the Keumala River in the afternoon is not just a physical activity, but also part of the culture, childhood memories, and a strong bond with nature. However, behind the joy, there is a hope that the river will remain clean and safe. So that children today and tomorrow can still enjoy the same freedom and joy. Because in this fast-paced and digital era, the river in the afternoon is a symbol that true happiness does not always come from complicated things. Sometimes, just the laughter of children and the calm flowing water.

That's all my post on this happy occasion, I hope my friends like it, thank you very much to my friends who have read this post
