Lol. 3 months ago when emotions were high and arcange, as you said backed down.
This is a reflection of some witness thoughts about people posting on both chains
No, it is not a reflection of anything but the stance of one person at the time, 3 months ago, Arcange.
Or this post from a curation community, where some witness downvoted (including @themarkymark) for no apparent reason, at least none that were publicly explained, but apparently, through some discord conversation, the reason given was that @project.hope is doing his curation project both here and on Steem.
If you want a answer on why they do it ask them. Then we can discuss the morality of their reasoning.I dunno. If its true apparently they dont want to support a project that runs on Steem as well or it could be what @enforcer48 said. Im not familiar with that community so i cant judge.
there is probably a lot more examples
There really isnt because you did your best to find some and you were found lacking. If you had a "smoking gun" youd let us know.
What you need to understand is that anyone that supports Steem and Justin is either:
- Ignorant on what happened which is fine.
- A immoral piece of shit.
There is no in-between.
There are many whales, witnesses on HIVE i openly make fun of and dislike on a personal basis (marky is a dick, wolfie a coward, netuoso a leech, etc.) but there is no world in which i will ever pick Justin Sun, a sociopath, over them when i look at all the facts of what happened.
You want everyone to just FORGIVE those that supported Justin. There has been a lot of hurt that happened and a lot of money at play. None of us are saints and forgivness doesnt just happen.
Here is the thing... I never mentioned anything about those that supported the Justin Sun move over the community, and as anyone else that moved to use HIVE, I also think it was a shitty (and pretty dumb) maneuver that he did.
I am talking about users, something that a platform like this need, but you guys still keep the hate about what happened to be stronger than the desire to actually work towards improving this place.
Sure you and others might have the louder voice because of your stakes, but it is so loud that you only hear what you are talking among yourself, and praise each other as the ones that know it all...
If things stay moving on the direction it is right now, the big stake holders (wich, at moment I don't have much interest in becoming one) will be the only ones around, holding a crypto that will lose value day after day.
The fact that some of these stakeholders adopt this kind of attitude towards those that still use both blockchains is only a symptom of a culture that is too egotistical, and think they are better than the rest of the users.
This isn't a welcoming place, if you don't belong to the 'inner circles' in a way or another.
Who is doing that? You were free to give examples but you didnt.
What hate? Hate for Steem? Ofc people will hate Steem. Steem (Justin) stole 5 million USD from our witnesses and whales.
How out of touch with reality are you when you make the demand for those that got their money stolen to stop hating STEEM. Would you?
Huh? Im not a big stakeholder. Far from it. None of these people like me and 100% of them would love if i went away because i call them out for being assholes when they act as assholes.
On Steem there is only 1 voice that matters, Justins, while on HIVE everyone's voice matters.
Fuck, Bernie, one of the top whales on HIVE literally hates me, downvotes almost every post i make because i have 100x less stake then he does but there are far more people that care about what i have to say then what he does.
You have whales that have direct control over the platform and you can still be heard despite that.
Give me 1 example of any other platform where that is the case!
HIVE is fucking brilliant.
It is a welcoming place by default. I dont belong to any inner circle and i dont have to.
Take personal responsibility for your success. Dont play a victim and pretend that no one can get ahead. That is a lie.
And we go round and round and round to the same place.
It's amazing how someone can't critique something around here that is labeled as "hater", "playing victim", or whatever the new word is, instead of actually going through the point of the discussion...
But anyway... HIVE culture being the HIVE culture...
Again, you're talking nonsense. I criticize Hive all the time. No one is calling me a hater.
If you criticize Hive and lift up steem though, that's a whole other thing and don't expect people to like you.
If you can't understand why that is I can't help you.

When did I lift up Steem again?
I was talking about the users and about using incentives instead of punishment for them to choose HIVE over Stemm, but like I said, the hatred for Steem doesn't allow you to actually focus on the real point of this whole discussion, and keeps circling back to "oooo steem is bad, Justin is bad..."
But here is a little secret: The average user don't care about the "drama" that happened on the past, they will use the best platform for their needs, and the hostile attitude coming from some big stakeholders can be a good solid reason for them not using HIVE and move to Steem.
I think everyone agreed that for HIVE to grow, it need to attract more users right?
Maybe I am wrong, and these stakeholders only want HIVE to be their particular playground where you must be friends with the rich kid to be allowed to play...
Who are these people youre talking about? Youre making shit up. Making up a problem that doesnt exist.
Someone is attacking people who crosspost on Steem?
Im asking again, who are these people that attack others SIMPLY for crossposting and who is it exactly thats attacked.
I want to help defend them if that is the case. But you gotta tell me who these people are.
You cant just make a claim and expect me to accept it because you pretend to stand on the side of "justice". You gotta have someone thats victimized to claim justice.
You cant just make up something bad and claim its happening when its not.
Damn, you seem to have a problem understanding the point of a discussion...
This kind of attitude happened more than one time, but I won't spend my time going through the whole HIVE blockchain history and Discord talk just to give you more examples. I got more important stuff to do with my time.
But anyway, the way you are treating this debate is exactly what happens when someone around here tries to bring to light anything that someone thing is wrong with the direction this blockchain is going...
Why talk about the core problem of the issue raised (i this case, the hostility culture that exists toward those that act in a way the big stakeholders don't agree with) when you can "demand" the other part to show proof, right?
