May Cross Day in the Benítez Municipality (El Pilar) Sucre State

Good afternoon my friends from # hivesucre, I hope you are well, it is a pleasure to greet you and to be in this wonderful space again. I tell you that yesterday we celebrated the May Cross, this cultural and religious tradition, how every 3rd of this month this date is celebrated in various states of the country. And here, where I currently live, everything was carried out with a mass which was scheduled at 5 pm in the Diocesan Marian sanctuary "Our Lady of Pilar" located in the Benítez Municipality of Pilar, Sucre state.
Muy buenas tarde mis amigos de # hivesucre espero se encuentren bien un gusto saludarlo y estar nuevamente en este maravilloso espacio. Les cuento que el Día de ayer celebramos la Cruz de mayo está tradición cultural y religioso cómo cada 3 del presente mes está fecha se celebra en varios estado del país. Y pues aqui dónde radico actualmente todo se efectuó con una misa la cuál fue pautada a las 5 pm en el santuario mariano Diocesano "Nuestra señora del pilar" ubicada en el Municipio Benítez del pilar estado sucre.
In our Benítez municipality, as a tradition on May 3, they decorate the Nazarene with red and pink calas and with their white clothing and then take them out of the sanctuary in a procession through the found communities. The mass began approximately at 5 pm after finishing the Eucharistic, then we went out in procession, the saint is accompanied by the father, his monkeys and the Nazarene brotherhood with their white clothing and their faithful devotees.
En nuestro municipio Benítez cómo tradición los 3 de mayo Adornan el nazareno con calas rojas, rosadas y con su vestimenta de color blanco para luego sacarlo del santuario en procesión por las sectores más cercanos. La misa aproximadamente dió inicio a las 5 pm despues de terminar la eucarística, luego salimos en procesión el santo va acompañado con el padre sus monogillos y la hermandad de nazareno con sus vestimentas de color blanco 🤍 y sus fieles devotos.
With drums of faith and a lot of devotion we left the sanctuary of Our Lady of the Pillar in a procession with the Nazarene. Many people pay promise with their purple robes, both children, young people and the elderly💜 I decided to go with my sister, nieces and my partner to the tour of the calkes of my town, my mother could not accompany me, she was unwell, there was a lot of breeze and it would not let us light the candles, After the walk we returned to the tremble and upon entering several fireworks and the church bells sounded.

Es maravilloso que se sigan realizando en nuestro estado Sucre está celebración de los fieles devotos a la cruz de Mayo, aquí en mi pueblo también se celebra, en la parte educativa lo vamos a celebrar el día lunes con una feria gastronómica y muchas cosas más que resaltan la celebración de la cruz de Mayo.
