Empiezo reseñando mi participación en la "Caminata del Día de Profesor Universitario" confieso que hace muuucho que me alejé del mundo running pero ello no es motivo para dejar de asistir a esta celebración tan significativa para mí, en donde, aunque me sobran kilos y me falta velocidad, logré obtener el primer lugar en mi categoría.

También aproveché una jornada de vacunación de mascotas a bajo costo para llevar a mi manada de tres, a su respectivo control anual y refuerzos de sus vacunas, fue un poco (bastante) agotador para mi pues ese día acudí sola, mi esposo estaba fuera de la ciudad, pero pese a ello fue una gran actividad, excelente atención y bastante dinámico el proceso.
En mi recorrido cotidiano por el centro de la ciudad, noté que se estaba adelantando un trabajo de gran magnitud justo frente a la iglesia virgen del valle, estaban instalando una gran imagen de nuestra Virgen, una gran estructura bastante llamativa, ese día no pude quedarme a mirar todo el proceso porque había mucha maquinaria pesada y estaban podando los árboles, pero luego fui a la inauguración de la obra, quedé maravillada con las luces de colores y el sentir de los asistentes.

En medio del trabajo de plomería una de mis perras se lastimó un ojito y tocó llevarla al veterinario para una valoración experta de su evolución, temía que se hubiese lastimado la córnea, me preocupaba que quedara ciega, por suerte fue un corte superficial y no ameritó sutura.

Al fin llegó el 24, por lo general me quedo encerrada en el cuarto, full música para disipar un poco el sonido de los fuegos artificiales, mi manada sufre mucho en estas fechas, pero este año mi hermana, cuñado y sobrina vinieron a visitarme, cenamos en familia y pasamos un momento agradable, lo mejor, mis perrines previa sedación no se sintieron tan ansiosos.
El mes estuvo bastante agitado para mi, lamenté no poder asistir a la entrega de presentes con las hive amigas, pero todo ha sido una corredera total, no hablemos de los preparativos para la cena de navidad, la tradición de elaborar las hallacas y el pan de jamón ni de los presentes navideños, siempre es emocionante ver qué picardía se esconde en cada bolsa de regalo, la pasamos bastante bien.
