It has been a month since my last post and a lot has happened since then with GodsUnchained development. We are about 3 weeks into the Divine Order Set Sale and half of the discounted packs are already sold out, but this is not the big news I wanted to share with you and talk about. $GODS token is out and already listed on two exchanges, giving you the opportunity to trade it, or buy it or... sell it after you earn it in-game. That's right! You can now earn $GODS by playing the game and tackling certain goals. Welcome to the "Blessings of the Gods Event". The rules are simple and I will do a quick breakdown of the financial aspect and profitability of playing. First of all, if you have not heard about "God's Unchained" and don't know how to play it. Here is a starter guide video by one of the top performing players - Copper Pitch. Give him a follow on Twitch if you want to learn more about the game and the different strategies top players employ to be.... well... top players.
Anyways, back to how you can make money playing the game. And these are the terms which have to be completed weekly for you to participate in the weekly reward pool of $GODS:
You have to:
Play 20 or more ranked games
Win 7 or more ranked games
Pass four rounds of each ranked game
Be at least Rank 4 (Purified Iron) on Gods Unchained by the end of the campaign to qualify
Play versus games with at least 17 unique opponents out of the 20 ranked games played
and that's it ... as simple as that. Of course there are bonus points and higher rewards if you fill in the above criteria and at the same time you are higher rank in the game. The game has 12 ranks total, with Mythic being the top tier rank 12. If you have rank 11 or 12 you double your rewards and if you complete more matches you get even more. What I want to do next is a breakdown of potential earnings in the beginning of the campaign. The number of tokens rewarded will reduce as more and more players join the game and start playing for it.
Currently we have about 10,000 people playing the weekend event. Let's say that 10k players make the threshold the first week of the campaign. Based on the distribution system the Gods Unchained team outlined in the announcement. An average player will get about 1.5 points and the top performing player will get the maximum of 4 points. The rewards earned will be in between 10-27 $GODS. Now, that is just a rough estimation and the numbers will most likely change if one of the variables changes. If less people play, higher the rewards. If more people play the rewards will decrease. Regardless, this is a great opportunity to dip your feet into a play-to-earn type of a game and make some extra cash while playing. $GODS token is trading within the $4-6 range at the time of me writing this article. Within a week the token has already been listed on couple of exchanges - FTX and OkEX. As more exchanges list the token there is a potential for the price to increase over time.
To earn the maximum you will have to play over 60 ranked games, win 21 of them and play against 51 unique opponents (now this might get tricky because sometimes the game will match you with the same opponent twice in a row. The best way to avoid this is to actually wait 1 min before starting another game, in order to avoid matching the same person. If you both enter match making at the same time. It is highly likely you will end up playing against each other again). 
On average a game takes about 10-12 minutes. This is around 10 hours per week to get in the higher tier reward bracket as long as you complete the requirements. 10 hours to make around 20-27 $GODS tokens based on the player base. This is just week one.... so the numbers might change as more and more people find out about this opportunity. You are also earning free packs of cards as you play. With "Forge" reopening soon, you will be able to "Forge" your cards(mint as NFT) once you have 2 of a kind and then sell it on the secondary market for $ETH (I think $GODS token will also be implemented within the next couple of weeks). This is a great opportunity to play a fun game and earn some free tokens as you do.
