I never thought I‘d see a time where I would receive several calls asking how I homeschool - urgent calls asking for tips and guidance on how to balance time with multiple children.
Until earlier this year many families never thought they would have to juggle a full-time job while educating their children at home.
For me it was 𝚋𝚞𝚜𝚒𝚗𝚎𝚜𝚜 𝚊𝚜 𝚞𝚜𝚞𝚊𝚕 but for many others it has been a very stressful and difficult time to adjust to.
I know several parents that have had their lives turned upside down and are trying to cope with it. Many families that didn’t understand or agree with homeschooling are now homeschooling parents.
Some of the moms I’ve talked to describe a chaotic and confusing situation. Even though most parents teach their children on a daily basis (not school based but everyday parenting) adding on the role of 𝚝𝚎𝚊𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚛 has been very dramatic and exhausting.
The educational images I first shared portray that of normal situations and how we usually view it. The following images in this post portray that of a tumultuous new reality. They display the duties of parents colliding into one another as they try to sort out their situation.
Some of these are off the wall and are very exaggerated but imply a concept of what’s going on in many homes around the world. The others are what we see now from day to day - mask and glove wearing:

These are really creative and the manner in which presented, inspiring! I love the crayon sandwich and was wondering if you really did put 6 rolls through the washing machine - but I guess not (else they'd've been shredded), just dampened? Great effect! A 'before' and 'after' of the recycling shot would've been interesting lol
Thank you! I really appreciate your feedback and support :D
I’m glad you love the crayon sandwich. I was really going for the ‘craze’ effect on these.
Haha nope! I just damped each of them before taking the photo. They would definitely be shredded if going through a cycle.
Good idea on the before and after. I was going to just take the photo with them dry but thought to really get the effect they needed to be wet. Here they are dry:
Ha ha nice........but (no pun intended :)....this is supposed to be 'recycled' toilet paper right? So the 'before' shot is before it has been recycled and after it has been used as TP...... at least that was my twist on it 😂....... yucky thought of course!
🤣🤣🤣...yea I figured no one really wanted to see the "true" before shots. I'm sure I would have less followers if I chose to show that! 😬 Lol
I even debated if I should say recycled or not because the thought of it is kind of yucky. Haha
Who knows what'll go down well in the 'New Abnormal'? :P
Exactly ;D
I had fun trying to explain to the people who were asking me for advice that I was just as confused as the rest of them as the type of homeschooling we would have to do during "self-isolation" was something I tended to avoid as literally everyone hates it. We ended up taking a couple of months mostly off aside from the occasional token efort or doco XD
Love the "school wardrobe" pic and while I figure you just wet the toilet paper to put in the machine for the photo the idea of it actually being washed and somehow not disintegrating amuses me XD
Yea I know several families who also took a break for awhile. We hadn’t been getting out much anyway so it wasn’t a big change for us.
Thank you! So glad you liked those photos. Yep, that’s exactly what I did to the tissue. Glad you were amused lol!
Thanks so much for visiting :)
I love this kind of photography! You're a real artist!
Thank you very much ~ ☺️
How to index these! New category, "covid crazy!" 😆
It took me a while to figure out what was going on in the last image. The toilet centres look so dark when wet, I was wondering if they were chocolates for a moment, or a strange sausage roll. 🤣
Haha! Yes that’s a good title for sure! 🤪
Lol a sausage roll! I can see why you thought that. They really are dark when wet. 😅
I like the idea of a 'covid crazy/craze' category :)
So do I!
Omg, I loved the light, thta's your sign, incredible as usual.
Thank you for your continued support of my photography work ~ 😘

These are great pictures! At first I was expecting bland stock images, but yours are much more than that. There's quite a bit of thought behind them, trying to express the overwhelming situation many people find themselves in. In fact, they're almost ready memes, waiting only for a lever worded caption.
Wow thank you! What a wonderful comment of encouragement. I'm really glad to see you liked the photos and appreciated the thought behind them.
I like that meme idea! 🤔😄
