#EPL-ScoreChallenge - Gameweek 6

Hi All,

#EPL-ScoreChallenge - Gameweek 6

This week I will be reviewing the Arsenal v Tottenham Hotspur, the game will be played on Sunday 26th September at 16:30 BST @ Emirates Stadium.

Struggling Londoner

Arsenal had the worse start to the Premier League in their history - loosing their first 3 opening games and conceding 12 goals. The last time the Gunners started poorly was in season 2011-12, where they only had 1 point from the opening 3 games and in that year also The Gunners were spanked by Manchester United 8-2. But since the opening 3 defeats, Arsenal have won the next 2 games that followed, by scoring one goal and keeping a clean sheet. In contrast Tottenham won their opening 3 fixtures by 1 goal and keeping 3 clean sheets, but loosing the following two.

Both teams won their mid week games in the EFL Cup, but Arsenal were expected to beat AFC Wimbledon so that's not a real indicator. I am actually struggling to find anything positive to say about these London clubs. Not to sure what to make of Arsenal, have they turned a corner or were they lucky to win the last 2 games in the PL because they played teams that are around them in the table? Is the honeymoon period over for Nuno Espírito Santo? Is Harry Kane fully focused on Spurs or is he focused on his failed move to Manchester City?

Both clubs have their issues going in to this game, this will be a very interesting clash and might be very pivotal for both clubs.

Last time Arsenal played Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium, the Gunners prevailed 2 goals to 1. Odegaard and Lacazette scored for Arsenal AND Lamela scored for Spurs.
