If I am to be blind for 24 hours.
Seriously is really gonna be a tough moment for me. I don't wish to be blind neither do I wish anyone else. Being blind simply means am going to depend on another person for assistance, it's not going to be fun at all. Am a kind of person that loves washing my clothes by myself, prepare my meals, iron my clothes and clean my shoes and tidy up my room. Who will do all these works to my taste for me. Hmmmm, I reject blindness in my generations.
My daily routines.
As a single mom, I do wake up early to prepare my child for school, prepare her launch and have a morning devotion with her. And after that, I will monitor her eat her breakfast and later took her to school. Coming back, I have to tidy up the house, wash some dirty clothes, take my breakfast and took my bath too. For now, am a full time blogger. So, if I should go blind for a day, am going to find it difficult to achieve the following things 👇.
My child will be absent in school that day:- This is true because no one will be their to prepare her. Apart from that, she will be my sight throughout the day. So,I wouldn't want her go an inch from me because she will be the one to take me to the rest room and at the same attend to little house chores.
24 hours off from my phone:-Seriously blogging, WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook has become part of me. I don't really know the last time I stayed up to 5 minutes without my phone. So, 24 hours without phone simply means, thinking and sleeping for me. I will miss my phone so, so much.
Seeing that am blind, I have no other options than to make the necessary changes which is taking the life the way it is. One thing I will do is to tell my child to relax for that day. She will assist me prepare food or if necessary, we can go for snacks or tea and bread for the day. After that, she will take me to bathroom, I bath her and bath too. After coming out from the bathroom, I will tell her not to panic. So, I will sleep since my eyes are already closed. When I woke up, I will ask my girl to help me play some music from my phone. With that, I won't think about the condition so much.
Seeing me blind, the poeple around me won't treat me badly but will want to offer a help. Though am leaving alone with my child, but I have other family members around who will help me out and will be there to ease my pains. Apart from my family, my friends and neighbors won't let me die in pains. The will all feel bad and pity for my condition.
Blindness is not what one wishes for himself or other person's. You might eat what you don't want just because you are blind. You don't have any options. It's a very dangerous disease that one should strife to avoid. But one can still manage it if he finds himself in that situation. Just take it as part of life and life goes on

I can't imagine how my life would look like even with a fake blindness
I pity blind people and keep hoping the surgeries walk out well

Blindness is a diseases, no one else can wishes for himself or another person's, situation where all your help will depending on others for assistance, God forbid. Nice post, keep it up.
