Hive Affiliates Community - The Guide

Hi there and welcome to the guide for the Hive Affiliates Community, my name is Erik Gustafsson, and I go by the handle @flaxz on the blockchain.

Introduction

This community has been created to act as a knowledgebase about the Hive blockchain, and about affiliate marketing, and to get those two together.

The first part of this guide will provide guidelines for creators to participate in filling this knowledgebase with content, and the second part will have links to posts and videos in different categories, so that it is easy to find what you are looking for.

Questions that you want an answer to have a dedicated channel within the Team Alive Discord.

Apply your questions there and someone with an answer will make a post or video about it to answer it, more details in the announcement of this feature, Questions & Answers - For Hive Affiliates Community - Build Your Knowledge

This guide will be pinned on top in the Hive Affiliates Community, and continuously updated as this project progress, including adding more projects that it will act as a knowledgebase for.

Guidelines For Creators

So as we are just starting out here this part will be updated as needed on a continuous basis.

The basic part here is to provide specific information in posts or videos about how the Hive blockchain works, and how to use it.

It is also to provide specific information on affiliate marketing and how to use that in conjunction with the Hive blockchain.

When creating posts and videos for this community, do so by keeping in mind that it will be mostly new users that will read and watch it, and adjust accordingly.

It is also very important to only go with a narrow subject in each post and video, if it spans too much split the subject up in smaller parts, we want to be specific.

Categories for posts and videos, and links to them are listed below, and if you want to suggest a new category feel free to do so, we will be adding more as we expand.

Hive really needs a Wiki. There is lots of HOWTO's out there but sadly the user has to hunt them down or spend a lot of time trawling through numerous accounts and time is a precious commodity you'll never get back. It's a great idea to have a central repository for guides but it would need an index post/page that would require constant updating with links to any new content.
