So the world continues to be swept up in a pandemic and many are still stuck at home ordering off Amazon. While that's fine, it means a lot of people are interacting with their mail carriers more frequently than they previously had been.
This can put both the customer and the carrier at risk. So remember:
- SOCIAL DISTANCING! Just because you see your mailman doesn't mean you need to go outside to greet them. Stay inside.
SIGNATURES. Sometime you have to sign for something. There's no way around it. For now, your carrier should he able to sign for you if you are present, but that could change. If you sign for something, don't touch your face until you wash your hands, especially if you used the mail carrier's pen.
PINK SLIPS. If you get a pink slip because you weren't home when we showed up, sign that pink slip on its back and put it in outgoing mail. Unless we need you to sign a physical receipt, that pink slip with your signature will suffice and then we can deliver whatever it was without you needing to go to the post office.
JUST BE CAREFUL AND WASH YOUR $#@&ING HANDS!
