#2020 Vision Pup-Kitty Curls Day 23

As my days of Pup-Kitty Curls have pressed on I have reached the end of my rescue animals. Before I began to re-showcase them I had planned to use my own animals... 3 dogs and 2 cats as my next subjects. Day 22 began with an attempt to use Harley. That was a stink bomb and I had to cut the video and go to one of my trusty cats.

The next video I was going to introduce my very first dog that I had rescued. His name is Max. My plan was to give him four kisses on his forehead. Age, he is almost 14 years old, has changed him and made him grumpy. Blindness and deafness have set in, he can be unpredictable at times. He had a stroke 6 months back and dementia has plagued him ever since. I rescued him from the Arizona Humane Society. I rescued him so I could rescue myself from the pain of my daughter's death. My boys figured out this year what he symbolized. I was the parent that said, "Your sister has died, here have a puppy!"

Before I could get the next #2020 video made, my Max passed away. He died peacefully in our arms on March 12, 2020. So instead of a Pup-Kitty Curl video I decided to do a collage in his memory of my four favorite pictures of him. The first is the day we brought him home. The next we were sledding in Flagstaff and he spent the day pulling them around like a magnificent sled dog! Then him on his uber dog bed and the last picture is the day he died on his final car ride.
Rest in peace, sweet prince.
