I remember during the long summer days leave we goto my Uncle's (my mother's brother) home and all my cousin were also come and wr go a lusf of fun together...
Family is fun especially when you're young.
Congrats @rcaine!
Most of my childhood was passed on the beach. My dad is from a fisherman village and he worked as a nurse on the local health center while me and my mom went to the beach, 5mins far.
During his lunchtime, he would come to join us and play with me!
Don't have many photos on this PC but here's one:
Good luck for tomorrow!
As the winner of The Honey Pot and a real Fireballer, @rcaine will get 60 extra entries for the CTP Blueprint Fireball GiveAway!
For more info about the Drawing click here :)
Thank you
congratulations @rcaine for the win
I remember I breaking open a watermelon by rolling it off the table and eating one of the broken halves lol
Thank you. Did you roll it off the table on purpose because you weren't allowed to use a knife?
lol I just wanted to open it quickly I think I was like 5 years old lol
Congrats to Bob for the win, and a childhood memory to share would be that we had a ski track run past out house in the winters and I was skiing there every day with my grandfather, that was very nice.
Thank you. Was that cross country skiing or did you live on a mountain?
Thanks Bob, that was cross country, but there is a lot of hills and mounds in that part of Sweden, nothing is flat, even the fields are mostly going up and down lol, so you have to go up and then race down.
Congrats, @rcaine!
Childhood memory... Going fishing with my grandfather... He was a great guy and it was really a pleasant experience...
Thank you. I am sure you always had good luck catching fish when you with him too.
Congrats @rcaine!
Hmm childhood memory would be weekend bonding moments with my mom and brother, while my dad was out at work. Ahhh the good ole days...
Yipee, rest time for me... I want to maximize it!!! :)
Thank You. Family time is always great.
Thank you. they were good old days hopefully for all of us.
congrats @rcaine
I enjoyed playing cards, carrom (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrom) all day long.
Thank you. A young card shark?
wtg winner-dont remember much at all
Thank you. I with you. I don't remember much. It all went by too fast.
Childhood memory on a swing that hangs from a tree. It was fun and the yard and fresh air were probably the best part
Swing can make a lot of good memories.
Congratulations @rcaine! When we were kids every year on the 4th of July we would go to visit some friends of the family at their house. They had a built in pool in their backyard with a slide and a diving board. We were in that pool all day and only took time to get something to eat. We didn't want to wait an hour after eating to go back in the water. That was like the longest hour ever. On our way home at night we would see fireworks from the different towns we passed through along the way.
Thank you Lisa. Nothing better than a pool and good friends.
You're welcome, Bob! And yes, that's very true! We had some really good times growing up! 😆
The lifeguard throwing me in the deep end as I was scared to get in when learning to swim. Now I am much more comfortable in the water.
I hope you gave the life guard a big thank you.
I would have to agree with @ph1102 fishing with grandpa
You always caught more fish with grandpa didn't you?
Yes I did.
Wtg winner walking out the back door past the swimming pool and walk into the Gulf of Mexico and go swimming
Thank You. You had a couple of good choices for swimming just out your back door. I should be so lucky.
Congrats @rcaine
Bicycle races is one of few to mention.
Thank you. I never got into bike racing until I was an adult. I hope you kept it up.
Once I grown up they are replaced by Motor bikes.
Maybe I should get one for me now.
WTG on winning the honey pot Bob
hmmm child hood memory, I moved many times as a child but the most memorable place was Guam, playing in the jungle and swimming on the reefs.
Thank you. So we should be calling you Tarzan, right.
Way to go on your win, @rcaine!
I remember building 'marble machines' out of lego bricks with my cousin Timothy. We'd also take the huge TV cardboard boxes and turn them into 'houses' with battery operated lights and doorbell! lol
Enjoy your Sunday everyone! :)
I remember when I was 10 years old my father bought a pentium 120 pc. I asked if I could install a 12 mb game, because at the time that was huge. He said yes and I was able to play this awesome game.
Once a techie, always a techie.
Oh absolutely :)
I had a great childhood. Nothing specific, just long days running through the fields or the woods with my cousins or neighbors.
It is the day of the short user names, well 2 out of 3. It has been a long dry spell for me. I can't remember the last time I won let alone my childhood.
Congratulations @rcaine!
I used to spend all day playing when I was a kid.
