In a couple last posts I was writing about some types of projects and I was giving some tips, actually I was sharing my experiences and telling you what helped me. Today, I would love to talk a bit about giving up on something.
Again, I will not talk about one specific project, I just want to share my general experience.
This is just my opinion about giving up on projects that you are working on.
I can say that this is not only about the online jobs, whatever you are doing, sometimes, you maybe should think of changing it.
## First of all, it is taking a lot and it is giving nothing back
We all know that the results are not coming overnight, but if you are working on something for a long time and you are investing your money, time, efforst into that, it should give some results. How many time it should take before you earn something depend on project, it can be two days or two years, but you will know that, and if in that time you do not get anything, you should think about finding another project.
Staying somewhere where you are not satisfied just because you invested something into that is much worse than investing into that itself.
If you invested into wrong things, when you find out they are wrong, move on.
## Second, it 'asks' for more
For example, if you invested into upgrade or membership and next month the same upgrade costs more, you should think of leaving that job. It is normal to invest, nothing is free today, and if you want to earn you will have to invest sometimes. But, if you have to pay more for the same things than you had to pay before, something may be wrong.
It is simple, same things cost the same.
## Third, it takes too muuch time
If you are working all day long, and you are getting some small amounts of money, you should give up on that. Time that you 'invest' into something should be in balance with what you get from that.
Leave things that are consuming too much time and are not paying off.
That is all I wanted to tell you here. Of course, there are many more reasons to leave and always there can be reasons to stay. Those were just some pieces of advice that maybe can make you think about projects that you are working on.
