As you now Bern have many funtains from 16th century many of this with striking statues. A stroll thrugh Bern is like a walk through history with each statue telling a unique story. With over 100 public fountains in the Old Town alone, Bern has a well-merited reputation as a “city of fountains”. In the Middle Ages, they provided the locals with water and served as places for exchanging information; today, in the summer months, they are very popular for refreshing and even serving water. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Bern, you should definitely explore these beautiful places. Here only a few of them.
