In this post, i will be sharing my images shot with one light and how i archieved them

This image above was shot with just one light and a reflector (for fill).
My main light was a godox ad600 and the modifier i used was a 160cm parabolic umbrella.

The light was placed a 45 degree angle from the model. Raised about one foot from the model's head and angled down at about a 45 degrees angle. I placed the reflector opposite the light and tilted a little bit towards the model. The light was feathered.

For this image, i used the same light and same modifier. This time, the light was placed above the model at a 90 degree angle and the reflector was placed at the chest level of the model, to fill the shadows on her neck.

Same set up as the previous image. Light is placed overhead the model at a 90 degree angle.CFZ2.jpg

For the image, i had the light raise above the model, angled down at a 45 degree angle, and positioned 45 degree from the model. I had a reflector underneath to fill up the shadows.

These images can be achieved using either a speedlite or a studio strobe. Gears don't really matter, skills matter more.
