We discovered this gem of a lake (due to a sudden highway closure that forced us to stay in Jasper Park for an extra three hours). Located only 15 minutes from the townsite. It was an amazingly beautiful evening watching the sun rays shoot through the clouds and onto the mountainside.
A black & white version of the same photo.
Best view of the lake is from the dock.
Magnificent sun rays shooting through the clouds onto the mountains.
Three’s company.
A few more mountaintop shots.

Shimmering reflections bouncing off the water.
Back up the boat, lets go fishing.
Guard-Bear watching over the resort.

An Elk grazing nearby.
This is the place to stay, if you ever find yourself in the area. A Huawei P40 Pro smartphone was used.

I can't get over the clarity and crispiness of the water at Pyramid Lake. Did you dip your feet in the water? I absolutely would, regardless of how cold the water was!
Gorgeous nature photography! @daveks

Thanks @ninahaskin, no I didn’t dip a foot in, but I should have. Too “busy” taking photos I guess.
Chalk it up to priorities and adulting.😀Totally understandable @daveks
Maybe next time you find yourself forced to spend extra time in Jasper Park or another national park you can "toe dip!"👣
Very beautiful pictures of wildlife. Natural colors and photo quality are impressive. Thanks a lot. Good luck to you.
Thanks
Looks like heaven! The rays of the sun are incredible, breaking through and leaving its trail.
Lovely and what a great place to get stuck at!
A taste of heaven, that’s for sure.
