Acid ice

If I am more or less familiar with reflections in puddles, I understand how and where it is better to photograph, then reflections in ice surfaces are much more difficult. The ice reflects the colored spots at a different, sharper angle, and the same method no longer works.

Another complication is that puddles are everywhere, and ice is less common.

I tried to come to the same places where there were puddles, hoping to find them frozen, but it turned out to be dry in those places.

All the bright colored light sources are at shopping malls, where, unfortunately, everything is already dry or cleaned of ice.

If the ice reflects at a sharper angle, the depth of field is significantly reduced.

You can't stand as over a puddle and photograph the ice reflection point-blank.

Oh, where was I when everything was covered in ice in January after the thaw?

But then all the attention was stolen by the warming itself and the widespread melting of snow.

Last year, I unsuccessfully took pictures of reflections in the ice, as I did it without a tripod.

And this year I was too late...

I'm not having any luck with ice, even though I'm doing my best to make something happen....and it works.

Well, never mind, in some of the previous years there were huge snowdrifts, which then began to melt, where the streaks gave a lot of plots in the background light.

Every year is interesting in some way.

This year, there is such ice, which was not in the previous ones.

We need to pay more attention to the ice!

There will always be puddles everywhere, but you need to be more careful with the ice.

Let the weather and nature give you everything they want, and I will capture it!

Judging by the reviews, people liked the reflections in puddles more.

It's understandable, there's more color and it looks more attractive.

Ice is abstract and not clear to everyone.

I like both – they feel like different frequencies.

Don't miss the ice next year!
