Circle Lake

A couple of years ago, I first visited an interesting place in the Vologda region called Circle. This lake is a pond of artificial origin, which is built in the middle of a pasture and has an absolutely flat round shape.

This time, the goal was to capture the outgoing rays of the sun...It doesn't matter where. I was driving nearby and decided that a circle would do.

Here, textured willows are planted along the shore of the lake, whose trunks just look beautiful under the rays of the setting sun.

....I should have gone a little later! There was just such a condition that I dreamed of, so that it would be in this place – ice without snow.

Winter doesn't want to come this year.

Ice has already begun to form on reservoirs, and in general it freezes everywhere, but there is no snow cover.

You can also try to come here at night to photograph the northern lights.

The ideal place: you can choose any point and there will always be a reflection in the water.

There are such round lakes of meteoritic origin...It's a pity that it's artificial.

But now I know what the same natural thing will look like.

If in general, then the shape of the lake is difficult to assess from the shore.

And even more so, it will not be possible to capture a circle without a drone.

It looks tempting on the map, but in fact, if you are an ordinary person without special photographic equipment, then the lake will not cause admiration.

The only thing that may seem unusual is a walk along the shore.

Since the lake is round, the shore seems endless, and the monotonous landscape enhances the feeling of infinity.

I also thought I'd find some interesting graphics here.

But nothing special could be caught in the frame.

I should have arrived a little earlier and caught more sunlight.

Next time, I really want to see ice without snow here.

Although I would prefer more epic places...

Okay, I won't escalate it...It's a good place and I managed to catch the light.
