The Sokolsky district of the Vologda region is quite large in area and this is also felt due to the fact that it covers several directions. If last time I went north (a highway that covers several districts and leads to another region), this time I studied places in the east of the district.
The village of Glebovo is located near the village of Chekshino Dvinitsky rural settlement. This cluster of villages is united by the Dvinitsa and Shorega rivers.
All places are located next to the M8 federal highway at the fork with the A123 highway. That is, these are the largest transport branches of the region.
And there are a lot of dugouts in this bush of villages – sometimes two or three locations per village!
As soon as I arrived, the adventures began immediately. While I was filming, I heard a strange sound – a repetitive squeak coming from one of the dugouts.
The first thought is that maybe some animal is locked in the cellar. Then a large bird that looked like an owl flew by. So maybe she has a nest nearby and the chicks are squeaking there?
In general, as a result, the squeak came from an ultrasonic rodent repeller attached to the wall of one of the dugouts.
But it made me worry.
