Evening street photography. Part 1

Everything is cyclical! Even what I mention about cyclicality is cyclical! From time to time I get involved in such a creative wave that I want to shoot in jpeg and not process photos.

But every time I suppressed this desire.

I have always believed that any photograph needs at least minimal processing.

This time I decided to follow my desires and succumbed to this wave.

I used to just shoot. Over time, the goal of my photographing changed and in the end the goal was self-knowledge, as well as experiments not only on a photographic image, but also on my own consciousness and on the consciousness of other people.

Roughly speaking, now I'm more attracted to the psychology and philosophy of photography.

Therefore, I so easily agreed to the experiment of creating images immediately in jpeg without processing.

Plus, lately I've been drawn to the evening street.

But this can be easily explained by the fact that in November the daylight hours are short and not abundant in bright colors.

And in the evening, under the light of street lamps and other light sources, you can catch at least some color.

In this episode, I focused on spots, geometry and color, not plot.

For me, a person has long been a part of the geometry of the frame.

Or a color spot.

I also investigate different states of the day by color.

From dusk to complete darkness.

Yesterday I took pictures during the blue hour - this is a very bright state both in color and in emotions.

But more on that later. While you can observe the state of complete darkness.

Immediately after the shooting, I did not like these pictures at all, I even put them aside for a while and did not touch them.

Then I still fell in love with them, because there is a part of me here, a reflection of the response of my consciousness to reality.

To be continued...
