The Spaso-Prilutsky Monastery is located so conveniently that it is suitable for filming the moon, the northern lights and just night landscapes with various natural phenomena. This time I didn't know where to go or what to shoot.
I came first to the bridge in the center of the city, saw the rising moon and immediately realized – to the monastery!
And besides, the Vologda River has become shallow – suddenly I will be able to go to the shore to the water and capture the temples with a reflection.
But even despite the receding water, as practice has shown, the shore was a slush.
Well, it was incredibly difficult to get to the water itself through dense thickets of willows.
Nevertheless, I was still able to make those very pictures, which then spread to all local and not-so-local communities on social networks.
And someone even compared me to Kuindzhi in the comments...nice.
But when you come to a place to take some pictures, you don't think at all what awaits them next. Just here and now.
You have played nicely with the light and the reflections.
I like the last shot where the buildings in the background are unsharp.
The idea of the first one is cool. You've chosen a nice angle there. Only the top of the tower is a bit tight to the top of your photo and the reflection of the tower in the water is cut off.
The second photo almost looks AI. Very cool!
Nice series!
