Willows are the best tree for an urban environment. Their textured curved trunks not only decorate the streets, but also create many subjects for photography.
There are a lot of willows in Vologda. I even wanted to reshoot all the willow places once.
Basically, I photographed them at night with artificial light.
But this time I decided to capture them in a reportage way with notes of street and graphics.
I have been shooting willows for a long time, roughly speaking, such a large-scale project on photographing night yard spaces began with shooting willows.
At first, it was even called as a jungle in an urban environment.
And as soon as I arrived in Vologda, I almost immediately began to shoot willows in different places.
What can you do if other trees do not have such a bark texture and such bends at the trunks.
One day, from the car window, I saw this place, especially what mottled plots loom there.
I even went out and took a couple of shots on my smartphone.
And a month later, I still came here to film it all.
This willow alley is located on Leningradskaya Street, almost at the very end.
There is a willow tree in absolutely every courtyard of the city.
But alleys are less common.
Of course, I will definitely come here at night to compare the lights and the plots.
And I will definitely look for such places again.
Of course, the best time to shoot any trees is the leafless season.
So if the willows don't let me go, then there will be even more graphic pictures with them.
I want to see the biggest willow tree!
By the way, this tree is much safer relative to others.
And the most tenacious.
Well, let it be, it suits me.
