One great thing about living in London, parks and waterways abound and very much accessible. Where I was living years back, Victoria Park was very much our front garden, the fountain at the pond visible from our front door. Though living a few blocks away, accessing the park is only a different gate away. And Regent's canal is very much a part of the park as it snaked around and beyond.
For today's walk, I decided to follow the canal, going to Hackney Wick, less than an hour from the starting point of Victoria Park. As one follow the canal, the opposite side are residential buildings, with boats bobbing alongside the pathway.
The path although narrow is a favorite place mostly of joggers and walkers, some on bikes. It's kind of cute on narrow bends, under the few bridges, where people need to clap their hands as a warning to a possible incoming biker. Unless of course a biker sounds his horn. The concern there is a possibility of falling to the water if there's not enough warning.
It never happened before but as with anything, there's always a first time. But not as yet.
I don't think there is a need for this now, but few months back, the possibility of it happening was high. All those videos and stories about toilet rolls were so surreal. Not that it went on for a long time.
And this one?
Honestly, there's a lot of what's happening in the world right now that can make a lot of juicy conspiracy theories. For now, I want to just CHILL for the time being.
This last image I saw in one of the boats on my way home. These stuff do make one feel a lot better.
Still on toilet rolls:
Chill everyone!
