Lhotse Face

in Photography5 years ago

If you ever feel like certain issues in your life are becoming too important; go walk amongst the Himalayas for a few weeks and see how significant they seem.

The summit of Lhotse rises to a lofty 8,516 metres (27,940 ft). The shot was taken from half way between Dingboche and Chhukung. This was the only bit of sky visible at the time and we had seen nothing but cloud for a few days. Everest Region, Nepalese Himalayas, Nepal. Taken on Fuji Velvia slide film.

Wow! just mesmerizing I was stunned by the view. Definitely going to follow you and watch the interview you mentioned about.
Great work, keep flourishing.

Hello Rob, I hope everything is fine now. And this mountain photo is excellent with its shooting angle and technical success. I congratulate you. you are always very successful!

Thanks. We are still stuck here in St Martin. Hopefully somewhere opens up soon before the hurricane season.

If you were able to pull back a bit more does the mountain have a cloud halo? O_O

Hmm. I took it in 2004 on slide film so I don't remember ;-)
