Milford sound is one of those rare special places in the world. Located in the south west of New Zealand's South Island, within Fiordland National Park Milford Sound has one of the worlds highest mean annual rainfalls of 6,412 mm (252 in). After waiting though several days of rain and snow, the clouds finally parted to a still glassy morning. Te Wahipounamu World Heritage Site. South Island, New Zealand
I took this shot on a Canon EOS 50D, with a Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM at ISO 100, f/10, 1/160s at 20.0 mm (31.7 mm in 35mm).
