I have seen that thing between the cacti and just couldn't resist.
A flower would have been easier to photograph, a lot easier I believe, but always flowers and bugs gets boring. I didn't think these teeth would look so ugly on the photos though ;)

I think the discoloration adds a lot of character to the photo, and some depths of detail. If they were all pearly white I don't think they would have made such an interesting subject.

I think so too, although I did try to clean them but had to give up, because I had no chance to get all this old dirt off and out ;)
