Part of that wonderful heritage legacy that was bequeathed to us by a time of media circumstances, as it was for the West, that combination of metaphorical chiaroscuro, which has gone down in History with the circumstantial name of the Middle Ages, we have in those artisanal and gifted bridges , like many Romanesque porticoed churches, with oculi that contemplate, from their symbolic perspective, an imaginary connection of worlds, which still, despite the centuries that have passed, continue to defy the laws of Physics, stubbornly remaining standing.
Children, therefore, of an eminently dualistic symbolism, they too and their media affinity with that universal contest that has been developing since the dawn of time between light and darkness, offer us, from both perspectives, visions of surreal charm, whose aesthetic, magnetic if there is one, it also leads us to think about those illusory masks with which, on many occasions, the face is covered with something as subjective as, deep down, we can come to assume that beauty is.
Parte de ese maravilloso legado patrimonial que nos legó una época de mediáticas circunstancias, como lo fue para Occidente, esa combinación de metafóricos claroscuros, que ha pasado a la Historia con el circunstancial nombre de la Edad Media, la tenemos en esos puentes artesanales y dotados, como muchas iglesias porticadas románicas, de óculos que contemplan, desde su simbólica perspectiva, una imaginaria conexión de mundos, que todavía, a pesar de los siglos transcurridos, continúan desafiando a las leyes de la Física, manteniéndose obstinadamente en pie.
Hijos, por tanto, de un simbolismo eminentemente dualista, también ellos y su mediática afinidad con esa contienda universal que se desarrolla desde el alba de los tiempos entre la luz y la oscuridad, nos ofrecen, desde ambas perspectivas, visiones de surrealista encanto, cuya estética, magnética donde las haya, nos induce a pensar, también, en esas ilusorias máscaras con las que, en muchas ocasiones, se cubre el rostro algo tan subjetivo, como, en el fondo, podemos llegar a suponer que es la belleza.
