[ENG-SPN] Introversion and extroversion in medieval architecture / Introversión y extroversión en la arquitectura medieval

From how medieval architecture could be considered, paraphrasing the famous phrase of the Fathers of the North American Constitution -of the spirit, by the spirit and for the spirit- many questions arise, which, even today, generate not a few and intense debates -above all, now, on Social Networks, where 'Romanesque' tourism is in vogue, especially in Spain- at the bottom of which, however, the presence, more or less hidden, of a great truth is always located. This, that is to say, this great truth, can be more understandable if we try to observe it from the point of view of the two architectural styles -Romanesque and Gothic- which, from my humble point of view, most influenced the 'anima mundi' of medieval philosophical thought.

From a moderately psychological point of view, it could be affirmed, without fear of burning one's fingers in the inquisitorial bonfires of objectivity, that Romanesque Art, imbued with its characteristic darkness, represented introversion, where the faithful sought God in the intimacy of its footlights, while, on the contrary, the other side of the coin -that amusing, illusory and enigmatic aspect- that characterizes Gothic Art, came to represent precisely the opposite, extroversion, surrounding itself with light and tirelessly seeking, as Goethe rightly said, God in the heights.

Thank-you very much

@juancar347

I don't know if it's a romantic walk, but the path and the architecture are very beautiful to admire in every space built and that remains as a vestige of great works. Much success and a hug. @juancar347
