My grandparents live in Ariège, a very rural department in the south of France. If there are not many people living there, there is nevertheless a very big advantage: the magnificent wilderness, still very well preserved.
Today, I'm going to show you one of the most beautiful places I could visit in Ariège: the Lake of Bethmale. At 1 074m of altitude, we discover an exceptional lake, bewitching, which does not leave anyone unmoved. With its emerald waters and its forest of hardwoods, the lake of Bethmale is a true corner of paradise.
