Tofino is situated within the traditional territory of the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation on the west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. It is known as Canada's surf town and offers year round surfing (if you're game enought to get in the cold waters).
But Tofino isn't just famous for it's white sandy beaches. It is also home to a wide variety of wildlife (great for wildlife watching!) and some of the few remaining old growth forests on the island.
