This is my entry for the #SEAPHOTOGRAPHY Contest, this week's theme is Sea and Seascapes.
I took this photo in 2020 when there were strict lockdown rules in Hawaii. You were only allowed to go to the beach by yourself so I would go to my favorite secret little spot and fly my drone. This is one of my favorite photos that I have ever taken. I love that you can see how far the sand bar goes out here. The sandbar goes for about a mile out to sea and the water is ankle deep for that long walk out into the ocean. The darker blue water shows the deeper parts, the purple is coral and algae, and the cyan shows the sandbar.
Beautiful photo and it is also a reminder of what we have had to live through during the pandemic. Regards 😊
