There is one thing that, I enjoy most when traveling overseas or within my own country of Australia and that is checking out beaches and not only are they just beautiful to sit on, in your deck chair soaking up the sun till sunset, I am not one to sit around in a deck chair, to be roasted by the sun, I like walking along beaches, having a dip as, I am moving along exploring the beaches observing the rock formations and the structure of the seascape by doing this, I have found that not one beach has the same rock formation or seascape they are all unique in there own way and that's what, I find fascinating the geological history behind all these rock formations and seascapes can date back millions of years from country to country. Here I will show you some of the beaches that, I have met and walked on during my travels overseas and within my home country, Australia and each and everyone of these beaches has it's own characteristics and beauty.
Australia is regarded as just one big massive island surrounded by the most amazing coastlines from North, South, East and West and every beach has the most stunning seascapes and rock formation, I have lived along the North coastline all my life and have seen and walked many beaches from Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbor, Barrington Coast, Newcastle, Port Stephens and Byron Bay were, I am currently living now and that's just to mention a few towns beaches.

Thanks @rossfletcher Australia really has some awesome coastlines and beaches 👍
I've been staring at photos of it since the 60's when I started surfing... and never been there. The area where I live in California is super expensive, crowded, and everyone drools on and on about how great it is... It's actually ugly af. Haha. I just have to laugh or go totally insane
That is a shame that you never got to come and surf some of our beaches if I am correct I think we held one of the first world champion surf contest just few beaches away from me at Lennox Head Beach some of the best surfing is done along this part of the coastline. I was in California a few years back and agree in what you say but there mountain are great were I stayed in Danville Town.
I'm in Long Beach... LA County - North Orange County. It's the worst! Haha. The rest of California is pretty nice. Yes, I am familiar with Lennox Head! I think it was George Greenough with a camera on his back out there in a very old and unbelievable movie that I first saw it. :)
Nice bit of filming that would have been tough work with that huge camera on his back but done a great job considering, I really do love watching all them surfers how they take control and just slide through those tubes always intriguing. I am trying to build up a archive of my best surf photos that I capture so I can do a post on it, this is one, I captured last weekend but they are not easy to capture perfectly with just a cell phone.
That footage was really way ahead of its time. :)
Amazing seascapes and landscapes, so diverse and beautiful :)
