What a stroke of luck that I saw this week's contest after visiting the sea yesterday. I am not sure if replying here is correct, the post submission link takes me to week #167, not week #172 (this one), I'm not sure if you want me to rather submit there?
Here is my entry for this contest - I took this photo yesterday at the Knysna Heads, South Africa. Two mountain ranges that are broken serve as protection for the Knysna lagoon. The water is the most stunning aquamarine and the sand is almost skin toned.
It took my breath away and is probably one of the most stunning views of the sea I have witnessed.
I took this on panoramic mode to try and encapsulate the totality of the beauty. It was heavily overcast which made the vegetation seem dark and contrasted the skyline perfectly. I will be writing a full length post of my visit there in the next few days, but didn't want to miss the opportunity of sharing this view with you.
